Hello, could you introduce yourself?
Rodolphe FRANCOU: Hello, I am responsible for developing the data offering in the West region. I have 25 years of experience in data and have lived in Nantes for 20 years. We support clients in their strategy for setting up their data assets and also assist them with governance. At JEMS, we have very strong convictions regarding this data valuation and the governance we want to implement.
Michaël THOBY Hello, I am the Innovation and Digital Director for the West market. We have 20 years of experience in subjects related to strategy and innovation through digital. We integrate data to provide tailored experiences in the form of business applications, particularly on smartphones. Our business is to create bespoke interfaces that perfectly meet the expectations of professionals, as we are positioned in a B2B market and specialise in themes inherent to the Smart City: real estate, energy, and mobility.
What are the reasons for this move?
Michael The intention was clearly to return to the neighbourhood where we were born some twenty years ago. We had to be aligned with our DNA, and our DNA is based on technological creativity as well as innovation. By bringing the teams together under one roof, we can fully exploit the synergies between data and digital to strengthen our position.
Rodolphe This move strengthens our presence in the West.
Why did you choose these premises in the town centre?
Rodolphe It's a very strong choice to set up in the city centre, I'm deeply convinced of that, for many reasons! Firstly, for our employees: these premises offer them incredible travel and mobility facilities. For our clients and partners too: the premises have been set up so that they can come to spaces dedicated to creativity right in the centre of Nantes, close to all public transport and a ten-minute walk from Nantes train station.
Michael The central district allows us to welcome our own employees in superb conditions. Around us, we have an irreproachable quality of service: welcoming premises that incorporate everything that can facilitate work, public transport, and a rich catering offer. It's also an ultra-dynamic district, so it's truly the experience we wish to offer our employees.
Regarding our clients, it's the same situation; we are delighted to welcome them here in the city centre of Nantes, and when they are a bit further away geographically, we have the ability to go to Paris very quickly, for example. This is also a huge advantage of being just a few metres from the station.
What struck you when you arrived here?
Rodolphe I am impressed by the work done on these new premises since we visited them in September. In just a few months, a real transformation has taken place. Well done to all the teams in charge of the design and fitting out for their professionalism and dedication, it's insane work!
Michael We finally have a terrace after 20 years, which allows us to welcome both our colleagues and our clients for great moments of sharing and conviviality! And with the lovely weather we're having in Nantes, it's of paramount importance…
