Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

In 2020, JEMS has made commitments to sustainable development through the implementation of a corporate social responsibility strategy integrated into the company’s policy. Our corporate strategy has allowed us to remain true to our values of excellence, ambition, commitment and responsibility, by reworking our customer offering towards sustainable solutions.

Ecovadis, an independent extra-financial rating agency specialized in Responsible Purchasing, evaluates JEMS annually on its social practices, its actions in favor of the environment, its ethical business conduct and the deployment of responsible criteria in its responsible purchasing. In August JEMS was awarded Platinum status with a score of 73/100.

JEMS renews its commitment to support the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact.

  • Human Rights

JEMS is a respectful actor of the human factor, concerned about discriminatory issues and ensures the abolition of any discrimination within the company.

  • International Labor Standards

JEMS attaches particular importance to the well-being of its employees at work.

Every month, several events are organized to increase sharing and mutual support among employees.

  • Protection of the environment

JEMS shares its commitment and makes new contributions each year to improve its impact on the environment.

JEMS works to fight waste and protect the environment. Various initiatives have been implemented for several years at the headquarters (recycling…).

  • GDPR

JEMS regularly organizes GDPR conferences showing its constant involvement in data protection.

 

Our future actions :

  • Further develop our actions with environmental and societal associations,
  • Increase the number of training courses and people trained in 2020,
  • Raise awareness and mobilize employees more on the CSR approach,
  • Diversify recycling: coffee capsules and cans,
  • Strengthen our responsible purchasing policy with our suppliers and partners,
  • Set up ethics-related quizzes for employees.
