Dec. 2020. JEMS Group, the French expert in cloud computing and big data solutions integration, has announced the acquisition of its counterpart DTA Ingénierie. This acquisition will enable JEMS Group to extend its territorial coverage to 13 French cities. A national extension of JEMS
JEMS Group continues to grow. After acquiring the business intelligence specialist Edis Consulting in 2011 and the digital agency Brocelia in 2018, the consulting firm specializing in data announces a new strategic external growth operation for its development in France. On December 2, the company signed the acquisition of DTA Ingénierie.
Based in Saint-Herblain, in the Loire-Atlantique department, DTA Ingénierie is an ESN close to the JEMS businesses, specializing in data and the creation of digital solutions (web platforms, mobile applications…). Founded in 2014, this digital company employs around 100 people and has a strong presence in Western France. The acquisition of DTA Ingénierie will accelerate the development of JEMS in France and expand its territorial coverage in order to offer its customers a greater proximity service. Already established in Toulouse, Aix-en-Provence, Lyon, Paris and its region, the JEMS group now covers the cities of Lille, Rennes, Nantes, Sophia Antipolis, Orléans, Niort, Montpellier, Bordeaux and Strasbourg, i.e. 13 French cities.
Why did JEMS make this acquisition?
“I am proud of the progress made over the last 6 years with my teams. I would like to thank them warmly,” says Delphine TAILLY, founder of DTA Ingénierie. Thanks to our merger, a new step has been taken. The synergies between our two companies with shared values will allow DTA Ingénierie to enrich its offer around data and JEMS to be present in the Western region.”
“With DTA Ingénierie, we share common values. Our merger was an obvious choice. Together, we will provide our customers with better expertise and proximity.” says Jacques BENHAMOU, JEMS Group President
Since its creation in 2002, JEMS Group has carried out more than 400 data and digital projects for the largest CAC40 companies: Orange, BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, SNCF, the Servier group, EDF, etc. In 2019, the company generated €50 million in revenue. It plans to make 68 million in 2020.
“Even more so in the current economic context, JEMS’ mission is to help large companies reinvent themselves by creating disruptive services that are synonymous with competitiveness and performance. A stronger presence in the regions will allow us to develop our presence in France and to conquer markets in Europe in the near future,” adds Nicolas LAROCHE, Managing Director of JEMS Group.
