A unified digital platform in cinema
SND, a distributor and producer for the M6 group, operates in a film and audiovisual market undergoing significant transformation. To strengthen its position, the challenge was to rethink its entire digital architecture in order to better centralise, enrich and distribute content and its metadata across its various channels.

1
Unified platform
A redesigned digital architecture to centralise metadata and media within a single foundation.
4
Powered channels
The platform allows information to be distributed to snd-films.com, pro.snd-m6video.fr, the snd-m6video.fr shop, and e-snd servicing.
1
high-value catalogue
SND's performance relies on the valuation of varied content: recent films, TV series, comedy programmes, and documentaries.
The project
Our approach
JEMS has chosen to centralise knowledge to better enrich and distribute it. The intervention consisted of rethinking the digital architecture around a single platform capable of bringing together metadata and media, fed by operational teams, in order to disseminate richer, more coherent and more customisable information across all digital touchpoints.
The diagnosis
SND had a digital ecosystem that needed to evolve to better address the challenges of catalog valuation and information dissemination. In an environment where uses, channels, and competition are becoming more complex, the multiplication of distribution points makes more centralised management of content and metadata essential. The issue was therefore not purely technical: it was about giving SND the means to better structure its knowledge, enrich its content, and distribute it coherently across its entire digital platform.
The key deliverables
- Rethinking the global digital architecture
- Implementation of a unified platform for centralising metadata and media
- Platform feeding by operational teams
- Distribution of enriched content to multiple digital sites and services
- Structuring customisable information according to distribution channels
How can SND Better showcase its content Digital
Profits for SND
Centralised information
The platform brings together metadata and media into a single, more coherent, and simpler-to-operate foundation.
More valuable content
Centralisation allows for the enrichment of knowledge surrounding works and better supports the value of the catalogue.
A smoother multi-channel broadcast
The different digital sites and services are fed from the same source of information.
Enhanced customisation
Content can be distributed in a richer and more tailored way according to usage and channels.
A stronger digital ecosystem
SND has a more structured architecture to support market and usage evolution.
The 6-step approach
Rethinking digital architecture
JEMS has redefined the target foundation to move away from a fragmented approach and build a more unified platform.
2. Centralise knowledge
Metadata and media have been brought together onto a single platform to structure information at the source.
3. Populate the platform with business teams
The operational staff involved contribute directly to the quality and enrichment of the content.
4. Enrich content
The platform allows for the production of richer, more actionable, and more coherent information around the catalogue.
5. Distribute across all channels
The content is then distributed to the various digital sites and services within the SND ecosystem.
6. Strengthen market position
The collection helps to better enhance the catalogue and to support SND's competitiveness in a changing sector.
