Redesign Epitech's website to better attract and convert future candidates
Epitech wanted a website that could more accurately reflect its identity as a natively digital school, while also enhancing its appeal to prospective students and their parents. The challenge was to transform the web into a genuine tool for discovery, immersion, and conversion, supporting online applications and recruitment events.

20 Campus
The site's purpose was to showcase all of Epitech's campuses and make the offering clearer on a large scale.
5 training years
Epitech offers a five-year post-baccalaureate course, which needed to be made more visible and appealing online.
8
This is the number of workshops that JEMS led with the project team to define the experience and direction of the future site.
The project
Our approach
JEMS supported the Ionis Education group on the UX/UI design of the Epitech website, and then on its technical development. The approach involved designing a more immersive website, more faithful to the school's universe, and more effective in guiding visitors towards action, by drawing on both project teams and direct feedback from future students and their parents.
The diagnosis
For Epitech, the website is the first point of contact with a large population of future candidates, spread across numerous campuses and faced with several course choices. In this context, the old system had to evolve to better reflect the school's identity, better highlight the quality of the training, international opportunities and career prospects, while strengthening the site's capacity to generate online applications and support attendance at career fairs and open days.
The key deliverables
- UX/UI Design for the new website
- Technical implementation of the website
- Facilitation of 8 design workshops with the project team
- Collection of user insights during an open day
- Structuring a digital journey focused on discovery and conversion

The 6-step approach
1. Understanding recruitment challenges
JEMS framed the project starting from the objectives of attractiveness, conversion and enhancement of the Epitech offering.
2. Designing the experience with the teams
Eight design workshops have aligned stakeholders on the future site experience.
3. Integrate user voice
An open day allowed futures students and their parents to be questioned directly to inform the discussion.
4. Rethinking the site's UX/UI
The website has been designed to better translate the school's identity and make it easier to discover its world.
5. Implement the new digital device
JEMS then intervened in the technical implementation phase of the website to bring the design choices to fruition.
6. Support online conversion
The entire system aims to better convert visitor interest into applications and event participation.
